Bariloche, Argentina

Bariloche is reminiscent of Switzerland but it is located in the Argentine Lake District. We stayed at the Llao Llao Hotel and Resort, located within the Nahuel Huapi National Park. It is one of the most beautiful hotels I ever stayed in. It is surrounded by majestic peaks, crystal blue lakes, snow-covered mountains, rivers and colorful forests. The colors are saturated by the clear sky and light.

The mixed media image (bottom) is entitled Verdure and tries to capture the lush foliage, saturated color, snow-capped mountains and overall energy of this magical place. The photograph (above) shows the hotel's magnificent location in the national park.
